The fact that he crossed the double yellow is just another symptom of poor skill and judgement.

holy ouch...if the guy is riding a daytona 995, he should have known better....i just feel bad for the girl.....and since i'm not a complete a$$, i hope the guy is okay too......he made a mistake, but still, that sucks.

Yes jeans do shred on impact. I slid on the pavement at about 20mph and my jeans were toast.

I saw a chart somewhere once that gave ratings of different materials on pavement. I think it was some European standards thingy. I remember it said jeans have a .6 rating. Meaning jeans will shred within .6 seconds after impacting pavement.
