Man... I'm almost glad there aren't more pictures after the last one.

Well actually no, I with there were, I'd send 'em to my mom and dad. They head out of trips all the time and my mom dresses exactly like that. These would be good to send to her. :)

That's just effin' scary. Yikes.

you know what I noticed about the pictures? The girlly on the back was in shorts and wearing flop flops, if she would have had on some rider pants and some boots maybe the hurt and the pain would have been less and if that bag wasn't on the back she could have scooted off the back, and see the mistake he made? the last pic shows he over-steered the bike, common mistake riders make on crotch rockets, some girls are stupid they will get on the back of a bike trusting anybody. He should have been extra carefull with a passenger on the back.

I'm not sure if I should laugh with, laugh at, or cry for the above.

Great series of pics, minty. Someone is about to tear up a nice frame.

These pics are all over the net but I haven't heard anything "after" stories yet.... It's a hard lesson to learn. I hope she not hurt too badly.

the after i heard (alegedly form the photgraphy company that took the pics) is that the bike was scraped up but ridable, she had some rash and was taken to the hospital but wil make a full recovery, never heard anyhtign abotu the guy, but im assuming he would have been about the same shape as the girl.

cant verify this jsut what i heard on another forum i visit.

I'd think the guy would fair better than the girl. At least he's wearing jeans. And shoes.

I've heard that jeans/shoes shred like paper when hitting asphalt but I'd reckon it's better than having full flesh contact.

Anyways, at the least, they were wearing their helmets.
Have fun on the open /¦\

Normal Jeans arent worth anything, you may as well have bare legs.

I had light contact at sub 40mph when I came off and the jeans were just trashed straight off.

Shame, thats a real pretty Daytona.

Must get riding pants.

When I took my side swipe, I had mesh pants under my jeans and ended up with minor road rash... nothing major.

As for the jeans... the paramedics cut them up...
along with my beautiful Teknic mesh...

Yeah, when I got in my accident in January, the paramedics cut my khakis up, which was sad, because I haven't been able to find a pair of khakis that I like as much as those ones.
