there was just an article in this months 2-wheel-tuner magazine about Shaq's new haybusa. he said in his contract (i know wrong sport but still) he is not allowed to sky dive or scuba. but riding a nitous powered haybusa is completely okay.

Yes, as if the Rothliesberger story wouldn't spoil a Steelers' fan's day, I also endured the World Cup game. Hopefully the post-game commentator was right, that this will be the bad game for Team USA when it counts the lease (doesn't eliminate them automatically), as opposed to the 2002 World Cup when the US had their worst game vs. Poland when they needed to win in order to stay alive.

Let's go USA. And Rothliesberger.

Here's a link with pics of his bike and the car with which he collided.

Looks like he caved in his front wheel against the right side of the car.

Anybody know what kind of bike that is? It's hard to tell with all the damage.

It will be interesting to see what his contract stated in terms of restrictions on things he could do.

I believe the Browns made Winslow pay back his signing bonus or somethin like that.

And I can't remember the guys name, but the kid from the Chicago Bulls who got really messed up a few years ago on a motorcycle had monetary loss penalties from his organization also.

There's a difference. Winslows contract specifically stated no motorcycles, while Big Bens doesn't. They could probably still take some money, but I think they're more concerned with having a starting QB. You can live without a TE, but not a franchise QB...

Yeah, I wasn't sure about Big Ben's contract. I didn't read the above article but the one I read locally didn't mention anything about his contract specs. I am sure if they do decide to give him a little fine, he would probably be able to scrape up some change and pay it.

I'm also a huge Browns fan (but I like the 'boys) and hated to hear about Ben. He's good for the game of football.

According to many of the folks in PA posting on the browns forum, he has lost most of his teeth, has a broken jaw, orbital cavity, and has severe damage to both knees. They said it's the only news going on in the state right now.

I'm sure we'll find out over the next few days/weeks what all his injuries are. I imagine they're just treating the more severe ones at the moment.

I hope he makes a full recovery, and rethinks the riding with no helmet idea.
