Verm, I like the Ortega Highway...even though it's the only one I frequent. Palomar has not only stepped up patrols from LEA's....but the residents up there have taken a "vigilante" stance on squid's who go up there and have attempted to ride 'em off the road. Just be careful if you go to Palomar.

Ortega was doing some construction recently and may still have some gravel....I would stay away unless its all cleaned up by now. I haven't been there in a month or so.

Let me know when you go to any of these places. If i'm not working, I'll tag along.

i'll be on ortega this saturday... around 3:30p at the denny's where the I- 5 and ortega meet. i won't leave immediately since i'll need a little rest since that's a 75 mile ride for me.
