I hear you Cammy.

The above link was me soundng off last week about the judgement on an arsehole who killed a good friend and seriously injured his Fiance

What got me was we were told that if Dave had been on his own on the bike or if his fiance had been killed as well the guy would have only gotten a year

Despite being over the drink drive limit.

Just to add to it the guy got banned from driving for 5 years, not from his date of release but from the date of his sentancing...
So he wont be allowed to drive while in prison.

What a shame.

Dave was a "procreating" rock, a man you could rely on for anything apart from to turn up on time or to finish a project on schedule.

What he didnt know about Vikings and Norse in Britain wasnt worth knowing to the point he would be consulted by museums.

Enthusiastic about everything and afraid of nothing. I miss him horribly, his other friends miss him and his fiance, all we can do is be there for her and it is not enough.

The guy driving didnt even get done for drink driving - just dangerous driving. It wasnt justice, it wasnt even close.

Maybe it's just me, being young and stupid, but I think it's sick and wrong that politicians without a party affiliation don't stand a chance in elections.

It's like.. either you're with these guys over here, who feel like this about these things.. or you're on the other side, who feel just the opposite about the same things.

I love to hear it on the news when they talk about '(random name) voted against party inclinations in approving the (whatever is going on)'.

Sorry to hear of your loss Kal, I too have lost biker friends and you never forget them do you. It's about time they stop treating bikers as outlaws, that sentence is a complete insult, what about the family and friends, they still carry on and suffer their loss.. just makes me angry :x
