Why not rig your idle speed screw to hold the throttle wide open?

Assuming this is a legit question.
If you want to travel at the same speed but at higher revs then drop down to a lower gear.

jesus, why do you own a motorcycle? not to be mean but your gonna kill yourself if you dont know enough that you have to ask that question.

let the revvs come down then let the clutch out somewhat slowly so the revs match before its fully engauged.

Just keep it in first gear. Plenty of RPMs and it will keep your speed to the rev limiter.

I believe that making your bike make sweet music is important. I find my bike sounds best not when making big revs but when under load at low rpms. I don't know what you ride, but most bikes sound comparatively weak when you just hold the clutch and rev. Stoplights are the best place for that and not at speed, as you are giving up control of the bike if you clutch and rev while the bike is moving.

When I want my Guzzi to sing for me, I keep on the gas and shift gears before the RPM hit 4k. At moderate speeds, I can be in top gear going 35-45 at about 3.2k rpms which means I have to be ready to downshift if I need to slow down, but should I need to accelerate the engine is just waiting to let out a rumbly roar.

You will be able to make yours sing as you get to know its power band, exhaust tuning, and the range of speeds appropriate for each gear. Done right, using engine braking can also make some sonorous sound exit the exhaust at speed.

Do you really want to know? I mean do you really?....No I don't think so, somethings are best left unknown.........

Dude you have to know how to use the crustacen...I thought everybody knew hoe to use the crustacen.
