Waylander,
Its totally down to personal choice. Which ever one you like most, go for it. Just take them both for a test drive before you make up your mind.
My first large bike is a GSXR 750 k7 and its awesome. Just the insurance isnt.
Just make sure you feel comfortable on what ever you ride and take it easy the first few months.

Except that you're buying your GSXR and having it restricted to have roughly the same power as a ninja 250.

. As im only 18 yes i have to have it restricted, but it still has the same torque and acceleration as the full power just not the same revs.
This is fine with me and i love it, doesnt bother what you think really as u dont ride it and dont know how it feels

If the revs are limited to 33 bhp then you'll still be operating on the low end of your torque curve since you won't be able to rev over 4500 rpms. Dyno charts don't lie.

From his reports, it sounds like the restriction might not be at 33bhp. Jake, you should get a dyno report, THEN TELL NO ONE if you're getting more than 33.

It should feel like a bike with razor sharp handling and braking, but only 33 bhp.

The bike suprisingly revs all the ways actually lol. didnt think it would but it does.
It feels like more than 33bhp as ive been on bigger bikes and pulls like it isnt restricted. If it isnt im not complaining lol my dealer fitted the restrictor so not my problem.
Storysunfolding the bike revs way past 4500rpm lol, i was suprised when i got out on it.
Johnj, yes the bike is still amazing on the handling and braking side, and power is enough believe me lol.
I definatley will have fun!

I'm trying to be as nice as possible when I say this.
But ride your bike for a SEASON then come back and start telling newbies how your riding experience has been. You're still a newbie yourself, heck IM still a newbie.
The way you are speaking is frankly misleading, it sounds like you've been riding it for a long time.
You also don't mention that it's limited down to 33BHP. I believe this is the second thread you commented in like this.
I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just don't want you giving someone a death sentence by saying "I'm 18 and I ride 750CC bikes it's GREAT!".
