$3.799/gal for the 89oct at Texaco a few days ago. At this point last year we were at $3.179/gal at the same station.

I'd not be surprised to see it at $4.50/gal at least briefly this year. I'd guess that we'll run around $4/gal for the majority of the summer. Looks like my truck's going to spend lots of time parked (not that I drive much during the summer anyways, I've got a bike that needs riding).

It was $3.40 USD per gallon on Tuesday night, when we bought our pickup truck with it's 35 gallon tank, and $3.79 on Wednesday morning, when I went to fill it up. So, I didn't fill it up. :mad2:

On the plus side, it makes riding the bike so much more sensible!

I've done that before. Nowadays though, gas prices go up so quickly that I fill it up when I need to because in a few hours the price will go up again

The gas around me is usually about $3.50 - $3.70 as of today.

Also, as mentioned earlier, Summit NJ has $4.20 gas  NJ supposedly has lower gas prices than most of the rest of the country, but for some reason Summit gas stations are MUCH higher than the other cities. There's one Exxon with the $4.20 price and then down the road, there's a Sunoco(or Shell) that's $3.70. The thing is, the Sunoco is down a hill and maybe people don't notice it??! But I don't know how those Summit stations stay in business since I rarely see someone actually filling up there.

Well I was right It dropped to $3.43 Wed. and went up to $3.59 Friday. (that would be like $4.34 a gallon for Canadians with "five" quarts)
