I should really start abusing my age privilege of being able to drink but I don't. I never really got into alcohol, and if I do have alcohol it is usually mixed with a soda.
Just recently though I thought about drinking since I still cannot get a girlfriend but I just can't bring myself to go to a bar and get hammered with whiskey.
I think it is time for me to just disappear and pull a Batman Begins type of training. I'll take my motorcycle along.

One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

Stop looking for a girlfriend. Just ride your bike and enjoy life... then one day when you least expect it, you WILL be blindsided by a babe and your life will be complete.JC Viper wrote:Just recently though I thought about drinking since I still cannot get a girlfriend but I just can't bring myself to go to a bar and get hammered with whiskey.

Trust me on this one.
Now, STFU and ride.

It isn't WHAT you ride,
It's THAT you ride

+1 what gummiente said. Just be yourself and have some fun. And I don't mean getting hammered. That is so not attractive.JC Viper wrote:I should really start abusing my age privilege of being able to drink but I don't. Like Gummiente and blues said, just relax and open yourself to the idea of getting a GF and it is more likely to happen. Get wound up about it or try to drown your sorrows and you're in the merde.
From what I've read of your posts, it sounds as if you might be trying too hard (with all sorts of things.) That happens to many people your age (or any age). It happened to me. You can get so wound up and involved with the idea of what you want out of life and start trying so hard to make it happen that life itself slips you by. Far better just to relax and enjoy what you have.
Life is a lottery, you never know what is going to come your way. If you just open yourself to receive it without too many expectations, then opportunities present themselves. The more relaxed you are, the more likely it is that something will happen.
It seems to be a rule that as soon as you get desperate for something you drive it away. (Joseph Heller was right. Life is full of Catch-22's like that)
If I'm preaching, sorry (it's a terrible habit). But I know this one well.
