HITAMUDHOLE, you might want to check out the Joe Rocket Santa Fe jacket. The inside arm and front of the jacket is all mesh, and it's armored with leather on the outer arm and across the upper back. On hot days you can ride without a shirt underneath, and it feels like riding without a shirt!

I shifted by raising my right leg, wedging the slurpee between the tank and the underside of my leg, then shifting really fast and grabbing it again. I've a hydraulic clutch so I can't do no-clutch shifting unfortunately.

But it's definitely not going to be a regular thing. Slurpee is not worth my life. Unless it's a really really really really really really really really super hot day...
You should do what my aunt did and install a bicycle waterbottle holder on your bike somewhere. She has a 1 liter bottle between her handlebars behind her windshield. It lets her grab a quick drink if she needs it at red lights or something. Then you could SAFELY get that slurpee you're craving.
Which reminds me, American slurpees are inferior to Canadian ones. Any who wants to experience true refreshment should hit up the Canadian 7-11 stores.

Cupholder = good idea.

I might have to make a special roadtrip to get a canadian slurpee...

It's worth it, maybe you can drag Toyuzu up with you, and I'll meet you guys at the border. You better hurry though, the weather turns icy in about 2 weeks.

Icy??? How do you get to the border if the roads are all washed out... :D :shock: :roll: That was some flooding you people had out there these last few weeks.

I plan on adding pontoons to my bike. Then I'll just gun it and let the spinning of my back tire create forward momentum. I haven't quite figured out the turning yet.

You could wedge a Platypus bag with a long drinking tube between your handlebars and the windshield.

Yesterday, a fellow on a bike pulled up beside me at a red light. He had on a short sleeved t-shirt, what appeared to be a beanie style helmet, no gloves....and a dog sitting in front of him.
I suppose the dog is well trained to sit there looking around, but if this guy had to suddenly brake hard the dog would go flying. He then went onto the freeway ahead of me with the dog happily perched in front of the guy.
