You would(not)'ve been proud!

#1 Unread post by Mag7C »

 Ok, today I rode home in shorts, sneakers, and carrying a slurpee in my left hand. SQUID ATTACK!

Tomorrow I'm going to ride to work in pants though and change into shorts there. Don't want to push my luck 2 days in a row.

I realize I could've been horribly injured but I accept it as my own fault so please don't tear me down. Laughing at my idiocy is ok.

After riding in 96 degrees and huge humidity today, I considered doing the same. But I wore my gear and kept the speed up. Did anyone else notice these tiny letters?
Ride safe...God bless!

How... did you shift?
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

Just be careful out there. don't want to say R.I.P to you. I have seen a lot of youngster on sportbike with short, t-shirt up to there waist and sneaker, I really feel sorry for them and their family.

I admit I sometime ride with only T-Shirt on but that because it is too d$%# hot here in So.Cal.

I see it all the time here in Memphis,TN. In the summer it gets so hot and humid you could cut the air with a knife...

I learned the hard way...I wrecked wearing shorts, tank-top, no gloves and it was NOT PRETTY!!!

I still wear a t-shirt on my cruiser but always at least have on jeans and gloves.

Lol, about the zamboni dealie in my avatar. I typed in "Magna" to get a cool bike avatar, but couldn't find mine, so I settled for the magna floor cleaner. I don't think it's a Honda though...

I shifted by raising my right leg, wedging the slurpee between the tank and the underside of my leg, then shifting really fast and grabbing it again. I've a hydraulic clutch so I can't do no-clutch shifting unfortunately.

But it's definitely not going to be a regular thing. Slurpee is not worth my life. Unless it's a really really really really really really really really super hot day...
