On the bright side it should drop the price on used interceptors by a lot.
7 gallons! That's huge! If it gets great mpg - I can only imagine the cruising range of it!

I don't think it's that big! I had a '98 and I think it was about 5 gallon and change. The one with the big tank was the ST not the VFR.

I admit the Honda VFR Interceptor is a nice bike, 2 years ago a local Honda Dealer refused to sell me one saying thats a higher end professional bike and I don't pass the test as a professional, so i told him to stick that bike up his you know what and never visited that dealer again.
Every dealer in this area knows me, I am one of the guys that buys a new motorcycle or atv every year, all I ask is for the dealer to treat me with respect and I let the dealer know I must like and respect him as a person before I give him thousands of dollars of my hard earned money. I am not one of these guys that hang out at dealerships and window shopps, when I visit a dealer I intend to buy something, I think when they see me coming they should roll out the red carpet and wait on me, kiss the ring on my finger!
Ever notice the HD Dealers? you drive past and its the same guys hanging out there in their parking lot all day, that must be so good for business when customers have to walk around in a maze of parked HD's just to find the entrance door, then you bring your wife or g/f and those HD guys are checking out her butt as you walk past, oh yea, its much better to park a HD all day than riding it, its a wonder why they spent $20K for one when it sits more than riding it?/ huh? That $480 monthly payment for 66 months is really worth it,,huh?

has anyone sat or looked at one yet? i went into a smaller honda dealer nearby my house yesterday and they still haven't received any new of the model lineup, even though they were supposed to get them in about a week ago.
like i said, i think she's one ugly redesign, but i still need to see it. rarely do i spare any of my time or attention to a bike i think i won't like, but i have to see the new one anyway. i think too many of us have been waiting for the remodel to finally come...

I hope it looks better in real life. It is one ugly bike! I don't know who is the VP of design now at Honda but all their recent redesigns have been mfugly! They totally botched the stunningly beautiful CBR1000RR as well.
I wish they would build a sportbike with that V4 engine!

ya the new cbrs are real nice, very innovative with plenty of positive quirks.
but i agree they're ugly too. Did honda forget that we americans just want a bike to solely pick up chicks on? sure we tell ourselves it's more than that, but the chick thing really is the deciding factor, right fellas??
boo ugly vfr.
