Re: Magazines you Recommend
I've got digital subscriptions to Motorcyclist and Cycleworld. It's just $1 (US) an issue anyway. Editorials and general news are okay, but gear/bike reviews (especially comparos) aren't. There's the rest of internet for that.

Re: Magazines you Recommend
I liked motorcyclist and Cycle Canada but I found them both quite biased (even though they had good photos) and quickly got tired of them after a few years. I did subscribe to Rider magazine (2 year sub) but never got 1 issue (although they gladly took my money). No refund.

Re: Magazines you Recommend
Mike,
That's pretty worrisome, Rider is one that I just sent off for myself. The two year subscription. If I don't get any magazines either, I'm gonna start the revolution!
Take note, Rider subscription fulfillment centers! Send me my sh*t!.

Re: Magazines you Recommend
I like RoadRunner Motorcycle Touring and Travel. They don't give deep reviews on bikes and gear IMHO, but the travel articles (both N. American and elsewhere) are well written and keep my bucket list in a constant flux...

I enjoy Sport Rider, Motorcyclist and Cycle World . Love some of the Brit bike mags but they are expensive . Have piles of old mags going back 30 years. I remember Cycle Guide and Cycle back in the day here in the US.

Re: Magazines you Recommend
I subscribe to a whole lot of motorcycle mags; they really help pass the long winter months when riding is not feasible. In order of preference, I like Rider, Cruiser, Road Bike, Motorcyclist, Motorcycle Consumer News, Cycle World, Roadrunner, and American Motorcyclist (the AMA mag). If I had to cut back and limit myself to a single motorcycle magazine, Rider would clearly be my first choice. It seems to be written for the average American motorcycle rider, not the fanatic sport bike rider, or those for whom only HD is acceptable, or for those riders who are interested in customizing more than riding.
