Your Coolness Factor of the 2016 Ducati Diavel Carbon is:

Awesome (3 points) 35% [ 7 ]
Cool (2 points) 25% [ 5 ]
Uncool (1 point) 35% [ 7 ]
Fail (0 point) 5% [ 1 ]

Total votes: 20

= a Coolwall Factor of 63.3%

Notes: While this is the first time we have had an Awesome/Uncool tie, it does make perfect sense for the Diavel. It really is a marmite (love it or hate it) type of bike: Expensive, uncommon, a rodeo bull beast to ride. Competition is the Yamaha VMAX, Harley-Davidson V-Rod or even the Guzzi Audace. It's an oddity in the Ducati lineup, but it's good to see Ducati offering up something different.

Get excited as the next TMW Cool Wall bike is now up for voting and discussion, have fun!

Rather than buying a Ducati Diavel, why not just buy a dozen bottles each of sleeping pills and vodka, or some rat poison? Lots cheaper and no need to give the first responders nightmares after fire-hosing you of the road.
What exactly makes you qualified to hold that opinion? When I worked in a European import dealership, I got to ride pretty much everything Ducati, Triumph, BMW, and KTM sold here. The Diavel isn't hugely more or less forgiving than any other Duc, with the exception of the street legal race bikes. It's a little weighty and you do have to be fairly involved in the turning process, but it isn't a hard to ride bike. It is, however, far and away more forgiving and easier to ride than the stuff Ducati was selling 10 or 15 years ago. Ride it intelligently and is isn't any more dangerous than any other motorcycle.
But many people will not ride it intelligently...and will end up fire-hosed off the highway when their "LOW SKILL" light comes on.
