Dude...
You really shouldn't be riding at night with a tinted visor. That's a no-brainer.

Yeah, but I've done it too. One day I took off and didn't plan to be gone so late and had to go home tinted. Mostly I try to carry a clear with me on the bike. I always have a small cargo net with me so I can carry a few small items.

Always bring you clear with you! If nothing else, bring a small pair of clear goggles (not the strap kind, just some clear lenses that slip on like glasses)...that way if you get stuck out at night you can flip the visor up and wear the goggles in your helmet.

At night, on the freeway, with a passenger, or without a helmet...but that didn't stop me from riding at night, on the freeway, with a passenger, and both without helmets.

ok, i'll put my clear shield on my tail bag.
the lights on the streets were enough though... but i can tell that if there's no lights on the streets, im gonna have a hard time w/ tinted visor.

and if a cop sees you wearing the tinted shield at night, AND if he is a jackass, he can pull you over for it......heard this a long time ago, hasn't happened to me yet.
awhile back, i went to a friedns house at around 3-4 pm, thought id be back way before dark but ended up leaving at 10....anyway, it didn't make it too difficult to see wise but once i got to the small alleys to get to my house, i felt like i was blindfolded...
i couldn't see ANYTHING. and there were lights, just not as many as there are on the main roads. so ya i learned my lesson though it's happened again since that time.
about the MSF....i rode my bike there.....and like someone here said, their bikes have ALOT less power than your bike....when the MSF ended, i had to ride my own 500 back home...
everything including the seating, brakes, clutch felt really weird.....it also felt like it had ALOT more power than before...and i liked it so much that i rode my bike there again the 2nd day too. i had SO MUCH fun that day...good times.

I went out for a ride tonight, but I had the clear visor on. Had zero trouble seeing, aside from the crappy headlight, but on the lighted streets I was on it was no problem.

I ride at night with a dark visor. The first time I did it it took a bit to get used to. But afer that, I've really had no trouble at all with it. I feel completely comfortable, and have never had trouble seeing way ahead.
