It's only raining a little down here... you want I should ride for you?

Sure, make sure you leave a good long post about how great it was. Press ctrl+A then the delete key. Then take your computer out to the garage, pour some gasoline on it and apply open flame.
Does that seem harsh? Can anyone tell I'm totally going through withdrawl here? "procreating" snow!

For you, my friend...
I will leave a long review.
Dude... seriously. I know exactly how you feel. I hadn't ridden since I broke my arm in August... my FZ1 test ride was the first ride I had taken in 6 months... and I'm sure that had absolutely NOTHING to do with my decision to purchase her!
The snow will recede and you'll be back on the road. And then you can make preparation to move to a much more "civilized" climate. Southern BC is beautiful and you can ride pretty much year round there... it's a wet "year round"... but it's still riding.

I've got a friend living in Vancouver who told me about 5 hours ago that he has all his windows open to enjoy the nice warm breeze, while the snow piles up around my ears, he made sure to rub it in. *crying noises*

Nope. Aftermarket part available from Arrowhead Motorsports in Moab Utah. All I had to do was drill the hole for my electric vest switch and decide where I was going to mount everything.
So you're in Portland eh?
I just might be in your neck of the woods at the end of June. Heading to central Washington for a couple days of DS riding with some other KLR'ista. I was thinking about swingiing down to have a look at the Gorge on my way home.
We'll have to exchange contact info so we can possibly arrange to meet up while I'm there.

If you're comin' down this way, let me know. I'd be more than happy to meet up for a beer, steak, bar full of nekkid ladies... you know, whatever.
Nah, seriously... I'm always down with meetin' up with fellow rider. Let me know when you're gonna be in the area and we'll hook up.

sometime around the end of June most likely. Gives me more time to save up for the trip, as well as minimizing tire changes on the bike

what's the GWR of your bike?
don't you exceed it w/ those cargo + your weight + your bike's weight?
max load is just over 400lbs. Given that I'm just under 150lbs, I have quite a ways to go before I max out the bike.
