Just thought that I would let the entire community know that the Moderator that you have all known and loved as 'WhyteGryphon' is now officially known as 'Gadjet'.

If you see how I have my bike kitted out for Long Distance/Endurance riding and rallies, you'd likely understand. I know Buzz will get a kick out of it when he finally sees that I've changed my username.

Here's a pic of the cockpit of my old ride:

most recent pic of the cockpit of my current ride:

I still need to get my new battery monitor installed in the dash, and once I have that done I'll get a new pic showing that as well as the new Radar Detector mounting bracket as well.

How do you pay attention to the road with all that stuff?

Oh, and do you still keep a spare tire in your tank bag? That's right, over a year ago, but I still remember the offhand joke!

BADDA BOOM!
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

lol

given the current luggage capacity of my bike, I could likely pack a spare tire or two pretty much anywhere I wanted to

The first time I met Owen, aka Gadjit, was at a bike show a couple of years ago. He had a backpack with him that he would reach into and pull out all sorts of things, phones, 2-way radios, Gps units, mini computers, I think I saw a thermo-nuclear detonator in there.....

Sev was also there, and while we would be checking out the new bikes, Gadjit would go AWOL every so often. He would be found at the nearest booth selling things with wires, asking the vendors questions about their products that they had no idea how to answer. So he would explain it to them....

And you've seen his bike.....

Like I said someplace else..... I approve mightily.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

Oh yeah, I'd also like to mention.....

While I doubt I was the first to ever call him that, I was the first to call him that here......

Somebody shoulda bought a 'wing...

It was quite amusing to watch Why... Gadjet explain stuff to the techies though.

If it ever stops snowing anyone want to go for a ride?
