LMAO!!!
And I'm with Brother Stark. I used to give people the the benefit of the doubt and acknowledge thier opinions. Used to do that whole "I'm sorry you feel that way" thing.
I still do, as long as people are polite. It's more than okay that we agree to disagree respectfully; and I'm all for an intellectual debate. But when people bring it in my face like they did to you, I'll usually just give a flippant remark of embarrasing ridicule and walk away. I've come to value every second I have on this earth, and won't waste them (nor precious oxygen) talking with close-minded morons who think thier philosophy on life is the only acceptable one. Damn fascists.

Nice! That rules... I think many people who complain about how dangerous bikes are etc. are just jealous that they don't have the courage or skill to learn to ride

I think you chose the best way possible to tell this guy what's up. I think doing what you did is much more pregressive and mature than ignoring him or being a dick back to him.
Props!

"sorry for your loss"

"hey, good to see you again" *wink, ride off*
Or something else.

Oh so true, because I used to be one. Once I was educated on it, I realized what a moron I was. I deal with this alot especially since I just began riding. Many people at work have told me "You're crazy, you have kids, how irresponsible, i've seen horrible motorcycle accidents" My responce was similar to storysunfolding's, I've also seen really bad car accidents and pedestriand getting hit, and im still driving a car and walking outside!
