All around best value for a sport type bike ... Suzuki Bandit 1200.

Also, Suzuki SV1000S (less comfort)..just loved that bike.

Closer to a standard but a whole lot of fun (more comfortable)...Honda 919.

Or go for the ultimate.. Kawaski Ninja ZX-14...it should fit ya fine, easy to handle in town, very quiet mannered until YOU tell it what to do. Havn't ridden it yet, but it is supposed to instill confidence with its mild mannered demeanour.

Which Buell did all of you sit on? The first 2 I posted are larger than the standard Buells... There is no way you sat on a Ulysses and felt small! The 2nd one is a stretched XB with a longer wheel base... that is why I didn't post the XB12S (my bike and my favorite)
