In Verms defence I have been trying to figure out how to mount a camera on my bike. I dont want to go out and get a fancy one with a mount. I just want to take my digital and put it on the back seat or the tank so I can study the lines I take.

You can probably just find a mount that will work with the digital camera you already have. I think most of them use the standard tripod mount.

You need to mount it to the back of a bike that can go just a little faster then you, and is willing to wait to catch up. If the bike is slower it ruins your lines to slow down for him, and if the bike isn't willing to wait, you just fall out of the view.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I was thinking that I would just zip tie it to the guage cluster and have it shooting through the wind screen.

I think I need to invest in a video camera first. My digital which is what I wanted to use is only three quarters of an inch thinck. They dont make tripods for it.
