n00b on K6 750 Part II

i bought a cargo net and tried to see if i can put my cam on it...

it's not good since i can't put the cam far enough back so on my 1st try... it covered too much of my a$$.

so on the way back, i place it on the left side of the tail and it's not great but definitely better than before.

it looks like my form has improved.

anyway... there's a part where there's some construction work and good thing they had guys warn on-coming traffic... they signalled me to slow down and behold, next blind turn... there was big truck completely blocking my lane. good thing they warned me.


also... i wanna put music instead... anybody know free program that i can use for that?

I couldn't see much, but it seems like the bike is staying almost vertical.

You seem to be having fun though. I'd worry less about moving yourself on the seat, and more about actually leaning the bike.

But that's just me.

i dunno how much im leaning but what i do know is im a lot faster than last month when i 1st got the bike.

i still need to dicipline my elbows more... i noticed im not bending it and sticking it out as much as i planned.

Those turns werent sharp enough and your speed didnt seem to require that leaning off the seat, as Sev pointed out.

But there is just something about staring at some guy's "O Ring" for 10 minutes that just aint healthy.

a lot of those turns are sharp. there's only 3 or 4 sweepers over there.

i think im just not carrying too much speed that's why i wasn't dragging knee.

besides, i don't intend to practice dragging knee on the canyons. im hanging off the bike bec it's fun and it helps me steer the bike better.

when i get another chance, i'll have somebody chase me again w/ a cam so i can ask for tips again. the 1st vid was very productive, i was able to improve my form from the tips i got.

this vid is not really good to critique since it's hard to see what's really going on.

I noticed the exact same thing within the first few seconds of you moving. You get way off the bike, but the bike itself stays almost vertical. Work more on leaning the bike and less on moving yourself. That will come in handy on the track, but isn't nearly as important out on the street.

yeah, the 1st few sec i wasn't leaning too much since i stopped and the tires are not yet warm enough.

did you watch the whole thing?

like i said, im much faster than before and that means im leaning more.

hanging off the bike might not be useful in the streets but it is useful on canyons and twisties.
