nah, save it for later when i get a vid.Sevulturus wrote: Should I keep going?
keep in mind though, you'll only see a newbie so don't expect an exciting vid.
Verm- without meaning to, you've given a perfect example why a high-powered inline-4 super sport bike is not a practical around-town bike. Sure there's people that can adapt such a bike to that use, but they're highly skilled. It's like making the fish swim "out of the water." It's not the natural environment for this kind of bike.VermilionX wrote:the unsmooth FI is very obvious when im starting out from a stop. no matter how careful i am... it still feels sluggish (for lack of a better word).
then i found out about the mentally challenged limiter and that's the reason for it.
i tried to stand the bike up and hit the brakes but the downhill momentum that carried me was too much. i was only using maintenance throttle during the slide.Sevulturus wrote:Of course power mangement didn't play a part in hist crash, he hit gravel, while taking a line through the curve, not because he was going to fast.
But here's a thing, a good line through the curve is a line that a car could follow. This means there should be at least 2 tire troughs through the curve that are clear of gravel (these are what I have been riding in because of all the sand put down to counteract our snow). So he went a little wide, which means he was going a little fast, which means he had a little to much throttle. What happened afterwards he claims was panic. What did you do when you panicked? Did you snap shut the throttle? Or did your maybe jiggle it open a little? Did you stand the bike up and brake? Or just slide with it?
