Well it happend for the second and 3rd time today.
The second time was a lot more violent than the first time I dragged the pegs. I made a right hander and the right foot peg kicked up words pushing my foot off the foot peg. In an attempt to get my foot back on the foot peg, I missed and I actually planted my right foot on the pavement. My heel contacted and went backwards and some pain shot through my heel. Luckily I was wearing my Spidi Off Road Sympatex boots and it wasn't too painful, but definitely not something I'd like to repeat.
The third time it happened, was right after the second time. I made a U-turn to get into a parking lot to see if my boot was damaged and I scraped it coming arond the U-turn.
In a way I'm happy with myself because I'm getting more skillful if I'm able to lean my bike further. I'm also a little peeved that my bike can so easily drag the footpeg, but what can I expect from a 20 year old cruiser right? I thought I would be accustomed to the feeling of dragging the foot peg, but in truth I don't think I could ever get used to it.
