The harley shop I bought my bike from is also the HQ for the boston HOG (harley owners group) chapter. They often meet up there to start out their rides.

I don't see why anyone cares what other people are doing. Don't you have better things to do than rant about posers? ;)

He obviously doesn't and sadly it seems there are a few people that agree with him......

I don't go to a dealership for the purpose of hanging out. If one's in the area I'll stop to take a leak or a break. Since the dealership's don't care if people do that. Some other businesses do.

There's a billboard I drive/ride past fairly frequently that reads:
Victory Motorcycles of ______
Biker Pit Stop -- Free Refreshments!
Ride it like you think owning it matters.

I don't see a big issue with going to the stealer. Good place to meet for a ride, check out what's new in bikes and access, etc...

The ones in Denver are great. Free food, coffee, drinks, bathroom, etc... The more time you are there the more you spend. Kind of like a gambling to gamblers. They make it fun for you to stop by and why not socialize a little with other riders.

Lighten up and enjoy life...it's short and the time needs to be spent having fun wherever it may be.

Plus the more people you know the more people to ride with.

I don't really see what the problem is either. The fact the MotoF150 was the starter of this thread made it lose validity for me anyway. But then there's more comments of "waste of skin", people not worth the air they breathe. What is that?! Some folks here think they're so above everyone else, that they get to decide who is valuable and who is not. What a crock!

If you don't like to see people hanging out and having a good time at their own discretion, then divert your eyes and ride on. But really, why would it offend anyone to the point of claiming that those people somehow aren't deserving of the life they enjoy?

Cheers,
Loonette

Agreed, Loonette.

And what's with everyone here saying dealerships having hot dogs and sodas? The closest thing I've seen resembling food is a McDonalds across from the dealership. If I ever get a glimpse of food at a dealership, I'd drive in and pig out daily.

The dealer I bought my bike from runs a local BRAG (Buell Riders Adventure Group) chapter so I hang there once in a while to talk to the guys and to see whats going on etc... I don't see the big deal with wanting to hang out with other riders... everyone is friendly and it's fun to meet new people.

People hang out at dealerships here for the friendship. They have cookouts and everything.

Gee Moto, I wonder why they hate your guts?

I bet he mistook one of their bikes for a Harley and kicked it over.
