I think you said it all though it's a bit different for us, women. First of all, you have to put up with the problem with wieght and size is a bit much to handle. Though I have to admit my Sportster seems to know the right path when I get confused. Also, Harley riders are some of the nicest people that you will meet. Oh, and I like being able to say "Yes" every time I'm asked "Is that a Harley". That's just something only a Harley owner can understand.
One thing you forgot to mention that at least to me, I treat it as a member of the family. It has so much personality and shows those little quirks that you learn to live with. If I can expect that the people are human then my Sportster is a people too.
