Ha! And they said those hypnotism-by-mail flashcards wouldn't work. You don't even remember the one legged, six fingered gypsy fortune teller (disguise is everything  ) who served your school lunch everyday in grade 2, do you? Or noticed that you got a specific special lunch? Or why you can't remember a single afternoon from grade 2?

I can't remember a single afternoon of grade two.
I'm going to go hide under the desk now.

Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

We had this smokin german exchange student named Ulrich my junior year in high school. Ulrich's father had always wanted a son, but he got a daughter and named her ulrich anyway. She went by Uli.

Uli was in every high level class she could be. It was crazy that this intelligent gorgeous chick couldn't pronounce steven, but there you go. So one day I tell her that I love the brevity of her name. Her eyes lit up and she said "Ste, I will call you Ste."

Who can say no to a blue eyed, blonde haired vixen with a foreign accent? Hell, maybe you can now- but think back to your junior year in high school.

S/n- Storysunfolding. My life is full of so many stories. I'm always looking for new adventures and experiences and my friends love to hear me talk about them as I never tell the same story the same way. So the tale of my life story is ever unfolding. Badda boom, badda bing

I have such a plain name that it appears people are calling other things my name... TMW-Did You Name Your Bike?

This name? Well I was KC somewhere and people kept asking what that stood for so I changed it to K-Chick to clarify then got asked what the K stood for so I gave up & wrote the whole dang thing on this site. (ya, ya I'm a girl & I take karate)
Ya right, there are only 2 kinds of bikes: It's a Ninja... look that one's a Harley... oh there's a Ninja... Harley...Ninja...

Many moons ago, me and my roommates would play Sega constantly. We always set up seasons to play through on the various sports games and would have to have a name to save our teams under. Since my name is Tommie, everyone always called me t bone. Once when starting a new season of some game, I got a bit crazy typing in 't bone' and put an extra 'e' on it, thus 't bonee' was born. My one roommate Soup kept calling it (pronounced t bone nay) and it has stuck ever since.
A dog had his chain reduced one link at a time, every few days, until his chain was so short he could barely move. He never resisted because he was conditioned to the loss of his freedom slowly, over time. Are we in this country becoming like the dog?

I've never had a nickname.

As for username,
My first, middle and last names are all extremely common (at least the english versions are) so when I first got on the net I had a hard time getting an e-mail account. No matter what combination of names and initials I came up with, someone else had already thought of it. Then I remembered zed from MiB, so I tried zed+my last name and that one worked. When I joined the forum I just went with zed, plus it goes with the avatar.
I always follow the rules.
The only exception to the rule occurs when I make an exception to the rule not to make an exception to the rule and that only occurs under exceptional circumstances.

My username is the username I always use. And it's a well guarded story (though not that spectacular) that's only been let out once in the 8yrs I've been on forums. "Shorts" shall remain explanationless unless some sleuth finds it. Adds to the mystery that is Shorts
