As I mentioned on another forum, if you do NOT ride, there are only 2 kinds of motorcycles: Harleys and Ninjas.
(don't forget to take into account the ratio of global warming to Pirates)

but which is more badass, a Ninja or a Pirate?!?

I would continue riding your Honda, your having a blast. What else matters.
I have road HD for years because I could not justify the depreciation of the others. As stated in an earlier post, when you can ride a Harley for 8 years and sell it for more than you paid for it....that's not a bad reason right there.
Like everything, that has changed now. I still think they hold thier value relative to all other brands though. Other reasons-Personal and you have to pay the big buck to find out

No I'm kidding. They are definately a different creature entirely. It's like comparing the suzuki Vstrom to a ducati multistrada. Two adventure tourers from two entirely different companies with very different approaches.

I certainly don't care what anybody else rides or think any more or less of them for what they ride. Long as they love & respect their bike and it suits the knid of riding they do, make or model doesn't matter. Besides, it would be pretty boring if everyone rode the same thing.

its true. Ide say i fall into that group when im with them. But im still in my obsessed with speed stage so I cant focus on just Harleys. Even my bike isnt that fast.jackM50black wrote:They are great people .... but they do have this singular focus on All Things Harley.
