Can't take criticism? I think I can, see the smilies? Regardless, I'm putting new tires on before I ride based on the advice I got here, and I'll just go away and stop asking questions. I didn't realize newbies asking questions here was such a bad thing, sorry for that...

You'll be fine with new tires. I just put new tires on my bike and could not notice them being any more slick. No big deal. Enjoy the bike!

I ride slow enough that I don't think tire slickness is a big deal yet :shock: Mine are also new but we're almost at 200 miles so I guess thats getting close to broken in.
