I can't do any wheelies on my bike and I like my tires to last me so no burnouts.
I know I spoke to a cop some time back, and he refered to "unreasonable or excessive use of power" or some vague violation. It applies to bikes and cars. I guess the law can look at someone driving away very fast from a light, even to the speed limit, as being a potentially out of control situation - like the drag racer who crashed recently. Not saying that makes sense, but I think in some places there are such ordinances, and at it would be hard to know it as a legit law. Seems there are always some weird law available to kill a little fun.

Cell phones and driving don't mix, nor do eating and driving, reading and driving, doing something that takes concentration and driving, or ammonia and bleach. What's worse is when a cell phone driver gets mad for someone else making a legal/reasonable move and surprising the cell phone user because he/she wasn't paying attention to the road. People like that should make full use of the last of my list of things that don't mix.

(For those of you who don't follow the moderate attempt at humor, household bleach which contains sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) mixed with ammonia (NH3) will produce mono and di chloromines NH2Cl and NH2Cl2 which decompose into ammonia gas, extremely hazardous, hydrochloric acid, and nascent... all of which can be potentially deadly)

wow thats kinda flawed logic isnt it? I mean if I was unliscenced and/or uninsured I sure as hell would make sure to stay at or below the speed limit and do nothing illegal.

do you mean that when I'm driving my truck I don't own the road.
If you can't drive, talk on the phone, put on make up, eat a bagel, brush your teeth, and flip somebody off at the same time you've got no buisness driving.
at least thats the way it seems here in NJ.
the best part of being my own boss is that I don't have to commute and deal with that anymore.
I believe a paintball gun should be developed that spells O Ring on peoples cars with one shot.

I was just reading in a magazine that one state has been having a huge problem with this. Not only are they unlicensed and uninsured, but they don't even have a plate on the bike.
