LADIES: Men in cars
All cars make me nervous/cautious.
I assume that they are all out to get me or that I am invisible, even when they are looking directly at me.
I sort of play a game when I'm riding... surveying the cars around me and anticipating what they're gonna do (i.e swerve into my lane, brake for no reason, pull out in front of me, etc.). Nine times out of ten, I'm usually right and that has helped me avoid getting into a situation that I wasn't ready for or aware of to deal with.
As for men in cars, I don't get that a lot as I wear ATGATT and a full face helmet so it's hard to tell I'm a woman under all of that!

who knows
I dont always get to ride my bike, some times i have to drive my truck. you know if you have to carry stuff. however when i see a female biker I ussually speed up to look at her and the bike there is somthing attractive about a woman on a bike. I am not sure exactly what it is. but i could be independance strength and that she clearly has a different mind about things. and i am not into what i call poptarts ( these people that live the pop culture life ) seems shallow to me

Re: who knows
I encounter guys like you on my commute. Gets annoying, especially when I get a thumbs up. Like I'm some sort of Special Ed case, having learned how to ride a motorcycle. And I can tie my shoes myself too.captinamerica wrote:... however when i see a female biker I ussually speed up to look at her and the bike there is somthing attractive about a woman on a bike...

wow
The choice to ride a motorcycle is not very typicall. espcially among ladies. so its interesting to see a little bit about the person. granted you cant tell much by looking but some thing can be said by the type of bike, jacket style, helmet type, if even wearing one. its not a question of capability. Anyone with desire can ride. its more of a question of who. I am very curious. every time i see a bike i have to see what kind it is. i am sorry if I find the free spirited rare and attractive. not in some creepy drooly way but intellecually.

I had some woman try and keep up with me through traffic today. She was in a minivan and breaking the 20 over rule (the unwritten rule if you keep it under 20 over you won't get a ticket). I was running a little late for work so while I wasn't taking chances and lane splitting or filtering, I was riding a little more agressive instead of just cruising along. usually it's the guys that try to keep up or insist on passing me. I look pretty indescript with all the leather and armour on + i didn't get anything in pink (helmet is blue, it matches my eyes).

its actually 12-13 depending on the officer but I keep it at 9 just to be safe. 9mph except in the city then its 4-5 over cause they like to pull you over for even doing 1mph over sometimes.Brackstone wrote:20 Over?!
