I have my full-face helmet, a mesh jacket with armor, 2 pairs of boots, 2 pairs of gloves, a couple of Buffs (it's a girl thing), I even have ANSI glasses if I decide to use a 3/4 helmet for any reason (mostly 'cause that's what we used in the class-I have several pairs of ANSI rated glasses and goggles for work). I'm ok with wearing jeans for now, but am looking for pants and/or chaps (ahem, sizing is an issue for me  -it's the hips). And of course, I'm still looking at rain gear, leather jackets, etc etc. I love shopping

As far as trailering, well, if you saw the boat list... We have TONS of ratchet straps and bungee cords in every size and strength possible. We have comealongs, shackles, etc etc. We're pretty well prepared to haul anything-a bike is small potatoes and we have hauled a Road King in the back of the pickup a few times for a friend.
Well, there are certainly some very good points about hips! I don't have any rain gear - personally I just get wet through my jacket and pants.

I don't have a motorcycle leather jacket, but I do have a Wilson's leather biker jacket (classic styling) from the late 1980's that is super think and heavy. I'm thinking about putting an armor shirt or something underneath it for the deep dark cold winters.

I have come to like my hips-but alas, gear manufacturers have not considered my type of hips

I did discover the refreshing feeling of riding in the rain (that broke a 98 degree day with 85% humidity). Although I'd still like to have rain gear for the periodic monsoons that pop up here. Nothing like that squishy feeling between the toes because the water is pouring into your waterproof boots.

I used to have one of those Wilson's jackets waaay back in the day. Someone broke into my car and stole it though. I do miss it, though I don't think I'd fit into it now. I won't really need one until late October/early November, and then only in the evenings.

In other news, I think half the Southeast is looking for a bike for me now 8) My friends are all so proud of me-it's so funny.
