and they know who they are

I'm here because I like and respect the people on here, and I've gotten great information, feedback, and support.
And because someone's gotta watch out for shane-o :lecture:, a mostly good-natured imp who drops gold nuggets of info and outrageous dung bombs indiscriminately and with equal fervor.

In the end - for me...

The internet is filled with nasty people - or at least they are nasty online. I'd say the lowest content of people being nasty is here on Total Motorcycle.

I'm a noob, even though I've got a decent amount of experience and sometimes I make mistakes in stats in my postings because I'm rushing....

But almost always there is someone out there willing to talk - and that's a good thing.

Great topic, BTW.

For a guy who takes the George Washington Bridge into upper Manhattan nasty people should be the norm.

You know - people in NYC (some of them) are in conditions just like the internet. You could go days on your commutes (or weeks) and never see any of the same cars. It is that kind of anonymity that breeds the nasty in people. Facelessness. :)

Once you know a person, they are almost all nice - even in NYC. And some - are raving lunatics that you need to stay away from.

And the weird way chance works, sometimes you see the same car over and over again - even when your timing for you commutes are off...
