They asked why TMW (total motorcycle forums)? Why not sprtbike.com, supermoto.com, cruiser.com, dirtbike.com, scooter.com, pitbike.com, duelsport.com, standard.com?

I said "because I love all motorcycles, but some more than others. :D I wanted to get the total experience, I don't look down like others on specific motorcycles or styles of riding. Should it matter if you ride a cruiser, sprotbile, dirtbike, sumo, duelsport, standard, streetfighter, ratbike, scooter, pitbike, hybrid, etc, etc. Should it matter if you like to drag knee, stunt, tour, commute, deliver pizza, bike gang, ride, etc, etc, etc.

There are other specific sites for those above things. I wanted it all. That's why I'm here. Is that to much to ask?

We are friendly here for the most part. There are a few sites that are just plain nasty......there is no fun in that.
I also learn a lot here.

As a member of the rider education community, as a matter of professional pride and personal development, I want and need to be immersed in various aspects and genres of motorcycling even though my personal preference is firmly in the sportbike category.

Right after I got my first bike I searched the web for some bike forums for answers on brake questions. I was led here and I made my first post. I stayed because it was actually a community compared to the troll filled forums out there.

It was the most sensible site I could find on a hobby/form of transportation/lifestyle/whatever that inherently isn't sensible.

I came for the ladies wooo!! :)

I actually don't remember, I know my first post was only a year ago but I'm pretty sure I just googled motorcycle and forums and this site seemed to be the most "generic" (don't take that as an insult Mike!).

It wasn't geared towards anything in particular and seemed to cover all the bases which is exactly what I wanted. I like hanging out with people that accept everyone so this seemed to be the most likely place.

I may love naked sporty bikes but somewhere in my heart I want a VMax or something of that nature. Cruiser looks but w/speed! :D I still want a sport bike too :|

Anyone have like $50k they want to give away?

I asked the internet a motorcycle question. ( yes I ask the internet questions.) This site contained the answer. It was my first forum I have ever visited and I liked the attitude of the place. Friendly knowledgeable people and Buzzz's avatar made me join and stay.

I came here because the site was based in my own home town and brand new at the time. I stayed to help grow it in to something bigger and inclusive of all types of bikes and riders. I am lucky to have made some great friends while doing so!
