I don't think any well-used bike can truly be ugly.

True, any bike that is too clean, shinny and ding free for more the a day is bike that is not used enough

Hmmm, I feel slightly insulted that my bike isn't on the list; I always thought it was pretty ugly.

Did you have to pay extra for the pistachio one?

But you're apparently way smarter than I am and went Japanese. I love my bike, but parts prices for beemers are a PITA.

PS, Re: Rockbottom and pistachio; It's just plain gray and a stock color (Der Korp calls it stone gray if I remember correctly).

Damn! I can't believe I used the wrong 2!

Some of the parts - important ones like Forks and the single rear center shock - are B-King only parts... I suspect all will not be paradise when stuff starts breaking.

There was a G 650 GS that comes with standard ABS on the front wheel only and is like $7600 that I was in to getting after seeing it at the bike show.

Then, when I was at the Suzuki dealer - the sales guy indicated to me that most of the ABS models out there are actually front wheel only ABS - I don't know the veracity of that.

But anyway, that was before I went ape-"poo poo" for the B-King.

OK. Looks pistachio on my computer. It also looks like not-so-good for visibility. I'm usually not a fan of garish colors---except in motorcycles and motorcycle gear.

You're right on the visibility bit; it kinda just sinks into the background. This bike was also released in a sort of yellow-orange, which I would've preferred, but I bought it used, so condition was more important than color.
