Not too far off actually. I've not read anything on the FJR1300 but if the picture on that site is the FJR1300, I could see that as a possibility. Looks kind of like a sporty standard set up for touring. I've actually thought about going that route at some point but I like my Vulcan for now - cheap and reliable.

Whew, deep breath, it was only a bad fantasy.

I don't know anything about a Honda Hawk. There was a picture of one, and it's a sportsbike apparently. I don't know about that, but the written assestment is pretty close, although I do ride for the fun of it too.
My bike? A Yamaha Majesty 400, scooter. Probably a more practical and boring bike than the Hawk.

I was told I needed a Honda Hawk as well, I like street fighters and that bike looked good to me but haven't they stopped making the hawks quite a few years back?

I got a YZF-R1, with a GSX-1000R coming in a close second. I could live with that, although I generally think that the liter class has more power than one could reasonably expect to need on the street.
This is a much better result than the test I took that determined what kind of car I should drive (I think it was the the Tappet Brother's test). I came out of that one driving a '65 Dodge Dart
