I just read the thread. Wow. I've been involved in plenty of these before and they get old after a while. It is worth mentioning, though, that the wizzard is a pretty wise dude.

ONE question, and because it had absolutely nothing to do with the comment I had made prior to it. Stay with the program, Zoomie. Besides, you'd already made several incorrect assumptions about my character so I knew it would be a waste of time trying to have a rational discussion with you anyway. Way more fun to just poke at you.

Yo! Over here!
ZooTech wrote:And sadly enough, by the time some of you realize that Ron and I are right, it'll be too late for you.
Maybe. Maybe not. But that's my decision, my path and quite frankly none of your "procreating" concern.
ZooTech wrote:And Ron and I only came here to this thread to share that with you, and were met with labels and hostility.
No, YOU were met with hostility because of your asinine attitude. As for Ron, now there's a man who I could have a discussion with and not worry about things getting out of hand. Same with Wizzard, SV-wolf, Spiff and all the others who participated in this thread with their intelligent, insightful comments. YOU, however, have all the inter-personal dynamics of a nursery school recess.

I've avoided this thread for the obvious reason:
ZooTech wrote: Convincing people that the way they view the world is completely wrong is one helluva plight. No judging here.... Simple question: How do you know you are right? 20 words or less please

I once used to visit Speakers Corner in Hyde Park, London. This is a wide tarmac area in the corner of the park where anyone who has a point of view and wants to share it with others comes with a milk crate to stand on and spouts away. You'll hear every conceivable opinion being expressed there from the profound to the ridiculous. And the speakers range from the deeply committed to the deeply mad: there are religious and political activists, ditto bigots, anyone who wants to save the world or save others or save themselves, hate merchants, people who have had a religious experience or who want to abilish the House of Lords.

Once I even met Jesus Christ. He was a slim little fellow with long, rather dirty fair hair, wearing a white linen gown and sporting a mouthful of gold teeth. He had piercing blue eyes and spoke with a pronounced and rather camp lisp. Several people were standing round asking him questions and taking the "pee". Suddenly someone asked him, "How do you know you are Jesus Christ?" to which he replied "Oh, don't be silly!"

I could only agree. If you ask a question of someone in the grip of a delusional reality you are likely to get a delusional answer.
