I haven't had a problem with too hot yet. In the mornings/at night I've mostly been wearing jackets under my jacket to keep warm.... today I wore my mesh jacket + a flannel shirt + a tee shirt and was chilly for the first 20 miles. Then I came down out of the mountain pass I cross and was a touch warm but not enough to make a stop worthwhile.

In a month or two it will be "the worst" as far as I'm concerned... 50-60f when I start in the morning and 100f+ by noon.

Still not as humid as some of you sucke...I mean unlucky souls....have to deal with. :D

On the subject of gear... I saw a classy sight on the ride in... a guy on a gsx-r, wearing slacks, dress shoes, dress shirt (with undershirt), and tie. His only "gear" was the helmet.

I gotta admit I loved the tie. Nice touch.

I see that frequently around here. Cracks me up. Of course, I think I look goofy riding to work cause our dress code is business casual. But not has bad as the suit n tie guys.

i'm slightly guilty :? i ride to work with just the helmet when it's hot as hell. i "justify" it because it's 10-15 blocks, max speed 25 mph, and it's all back streets. anything further than that, however, i leather up.

Oh, this guy wasn't doing 25...

My spedo was pointing north of 90MPH (in other words, I was doing 85ish...matching traffic on an interstate) and he passed me doing 10 better.

I said that becuase I was misled by your avatar, I had no idea that it was Angelina jolie in that picture.

But if you think someone is gay becuase they think a picture of Angelina is stupid then you are a little close minded.

And so what if I was gay? Would you have a problem with that? It came across sounding that way to me.

Man, so it was 92 degrees yesterday, and I think the same today. I of course, wore my gear on the way to work today which includes a mesh JR jacket with armor, leather perforated gloves, ful face, etc etc

Granted my commute involved some city traffic, but I was an absolute sweaty mess when I got to work. It took a good 20-30 minutes sitting in the air conditioning just to feel comfortable again. My entire commute is only 15 minutes tops.

I can't belive they dont make more white motorcycle gear. I know there are some, but everything is predominatly black, especially pants.

Anyhow, I guess I had no real point, expept to say, its HOT!! But im still wearing my gear...
I envy you, lol. Try two, hour and a half commutes each day. Both in at least 90 degree weather, bumper to bumper the whole way, sun in your eyes both way. It almost makes me want to drive a car.
