There is only one correct color for this bike
2nd that!
Problem here though with that is kawi did this ZRX thing in a METALLIC green which AINT the correct colour of the originals. Should've stuck with the original lime green for the colour choice.

Still there were many red/black GPz which look good too, and I still like the new blue. AND, the KZ900 (original Z1? (late 70s I think) and GPz's came in a nice silvers. The blue-ish tinted silvers of the Z900/Z1's were pretty nice as i recall from old magazine pix as a kid.

The classic UJMs looked good in lots of different colours -- like the VW Beetle -- many colours for different tastes.

For Sale: Ninja 600 with parts bike, needs minor work, $30, no title... (GEE THAT DOESNT RING ANY WARNING BELLS DOES IT?)

I know I am too late and my vote does not count (my computer is broken and I won't be on here much until it gets fixed) but I voted Awesome. I can't believe I missed the Cool Wall vote for my own Bike.

The ZRX really is a great all around bike, I have ridden the mountains with full on sportbikes and easily kept up and once took a 7 hour road trip in one day, which is something I could not do on most bikes, plus I love the looks of it.

I was wondering where you were, had your bike up and everything! It is top of the Cool Wall right now.

Since you own it, is there anything you would improve about it or change? Do you wish for Fuel Injection or are the carbs on it great?

BTW - Your vote counts here! I just can't count it for the Cool Wall results, but here, it counts. :D

I would not change much, although it's not too heavy (for a 1200) it could lose a little weight, the brakes are good, but modern radial brakes on lighter wheels would be great, oh and more power is never a bad thing.

The Carbs work great, on cold days I have to use the choke for a few minutes, but other than that they work great and will be easier to work on than FI. Fuel Injection is great now, but when I bought my bike I don't think it was perfected yet, so I would rather have "Great Carbs" over "O.K. FI", but if they made a new ZRX it would have to be FI.
