What skill level do you need to race bikes professionally?

He is more than qualified - End of.

Cadwell Park is a really real race track.

A big thou superbike almost got handed its arse by a 750 which was cutting edge. 13 years ago.

Anyway my shift is done so I'll pick this up later no doubt.

were not even talking about my bike.

the gixxer in question was the 1k K5/K6 and not the 750 K6.

The Crimson Rider® wrote:but anyway... hp and torques specs on the gixxer750 is considerably higher than the 675. plus the low seat height works well for me too. only thing that the 675 has better IMHO is stock tires, but that can be easily fixed.
But according to a previous post, more hp and torque makes for a better bike. So logically the Gixxer1000K5/6 is a better bike then the Gixxer750K6. Which leads to the obvious question...

How much would the 13 year old 750 have spanked YOUR 750 by?

if he's not a former or current pro-level racer then that could be it.

he just didn't have what it takes to extract all the potential of the gixxer1000 K5/K6.

and im sure caldwell is a real racetrack... question is, is it suited for pro-level superbike class races?

if it's one of those smaller racetracks... then yeah, i see could why he couldn't make full use of the 1k.

the GSX-R750 K6 could only be spanked by the older 750 bike if the rider didn't know how to fully use new gixxer750.

bec the new gixxer is just plain better than the old R7.

so it just depends on rider skill if he can make better use of the better bike.

Why do you care?

You can't ride it properly anyway.
