Gummi...I was not aware that there already existed in dash things like gps's.

Nah, even my 07 Road Glide had an option for a rudimentary GPS which displayed on the radio screen. I think they had that option as far back as '04, but I'm not sure. And given that riders have added Garmin or Tom-Tom GPS units to their bikes since around 2005, the touch screen technology is hardly new.

This whole thread is supposed to based on personal opinion. Bikes have been praised and trashed solely on subjective reasons such as how it looks. I know I have failed a bike solely on its mfuglyness.

A lot of gloves are actually touchscreen compatible once you break them in. Even if they aren't, you can easily modify them with a couple stitches of conductive thread to make them work.
