Damn that would have been cool, but it is going to be a rushed trip with other "netwworking" in the evenings. Maybe we should meet up when I finally get a ride in down this way....hopefully next year?Wrider wrote:Let me know if you're bored, I'm sure I can come up with some excuse or another to get up to Denver!High_Side wrote:Looks like I missed you AGAIN. I got my Kindle Fire in the mail today!
So far I am very happy with it. I was thinking about getting an iPad but for $300 less I ordered the Fire as soon as it became available.

Re: What did you do today...
I went for a ride today, not far, but still a nice ride... was +11oC, but the nights are getting cold now (still above freezing in the high single digits)... Lots of lane splitting (as it was 5:30pm) and I was thinking how lucky I am to be riding right now when my bike would be in winter storage if I was in Calgary.

Re: What did you do today...
Spent my afternoon off at girlfriend's talking her through the emotions of an impending break up.
She has often been my rock & deserves some of my time & attention now.
Also checked on her adult son's scalp wound which I dressed at the w/e. Pleased to report it is healing well!

Re: What did you do today...
Dropped the truck off this morning for the final (hopefully) bit of maintenance work to be done...steering assembly upgrade (really sloppy steering right now)...that will put me over $5000 this fall on the truck...lease roads beat the crap out of the poor thing...but now it has new shocks, rebuilt trans, and upgraded steering components...now I just hope the tires can make it through one more winter...another road trip planned for next week...2200+kms...yay
Later.
Later.
