This last weekend was a long weekend in Canada and I was lucky enough to enjoy the company of my eldest daughter and my Grandson, as they visited me from Calgary. Dinner with a friend on Thur, fishing on Fri (no fish),

the Cloverdale Rodeo on Sat,

and we topped off the weekend with a visit to the local Science World where they had a Lego display...

dr_bar...looks like you had a great visit...I'm not at the Grampa visit age yet, but I do enjoy the Uncle visit days...Dad days are cool too, but it's different when you are the "favourite Uncle"...

I got to walk past the bike and take the truck through wind & rain to work...not great riding weather here right now...more in the forecast for tomorrow...maybe Friday?

Later.

I am currently sat in the garden as it is really warm even tho it's only 10am. I am on my second glass of a very cheeky Italian red & will probably finish the bottle.

Am I a lush .......................... probably....................but have a good excuse as just finished another really tough nightshift.

Going to bed soon & hopefully the vino will help me sleep

My iPhone's camera sucks. New contract coming up so waiting on the new phone. Why spend the money on a digital SLR and then leave it at home all the time...

Have just sent off money for another bike rally! It is being held about 70 miles away & will be great fun as there are 750 tickets being snapped up.

I might be going on my own again as my partner hasn't yet got the time off, but I will be in the company of new friends.

Got up, showered, made a coffee, read the news and had ciggie, got dressed, donned the riding gear, tunes playing on the MP3 player, helmet on, ready for a brisk ride to work at 4:20AM, got to the bike, no key in the pocket, no key in the ignition, NO KEY!!!!!!, look at the time, remove helmet, walk dejectedly to the Pathfinder (its key of course in on my house key ring), fired it up and drove to work in my leathers.....quitting time, back in Pathfinder, traffic fairly light for a Friday, sun out, perfect day to ride, see all the happy bikers going by me.....wept a little, sobbed a lot.....still haven't found the missing key.
Always ask why.
