For that photo, I would use Pro HDR, it takes two pictures, one metered for the bright parts of the scene, and another metered for the dark. It then automaticaly blends the two into a great pic... Now, if you can ignore the crappy quality of taking a picture from a computer screen you'll see a better balance. Try the free version first if it's available, the secret is a steady hand

Today I went to the gym, followed by going to the grocery store to get stuff for some curry. Garbanzos (chick peas), potato, and tofu went into it, as well as not enough tomato (could have used some tomato paste) and I completely spaced on adding the spinach. Too much curry powder and not enough garam masala, but otherwise I think it came out okay. Also made naan to go with it.

Installed my new Corbin seat on my CBR600RR. After 8 years, it suddenly dawned on me that the stock seat is kinda uncomfortable.... Or maybe I'm getting old... :boat:

i have a motorola atrix.

i actually practice the same thing shooting a gun in taking photos... hold my breath to help my hold my hand steady. ehehe

i'll check out that app but i might upgrade my phone soon. i definitely will get something that is just as good or better picture quality than the iphone 4S.

thanks.

In the Yamaha ones...I'm glad to see they still offer a 650. It's a good entry level as well as a good commuter and highway ride.

Today I planted some plants, watered the garden, got all the laundry done, cleaned the fridge and then packed a bag for my few days away....a woman friend and I are going to the interior for a few days away.

We're going in my car..she does not ride.

Spent a day at home worrying about my daughter in Calgary that was in the hospital delivering her second child. After a long day with a few fb updates, my son inlaw posted an update asking those inclined to prayer, to do so now, then nothing for 3 hours. It was a tough time and of course all my family were quite worried. What happened was, he had a 10 - 15 second window to post something and posted what he thought was needed the most, prayers. In hindsight I don't blame him for his actions. What happened is, that my daughter ruptured her uterus and had to have an emergency C-section. Ruptured uterus happens only in about .07% pregnancies and more often than not results in fatality for both mother and child. Thanks to an awesome team and just maybe a little bit of help from above, both my daughter and my grandson survived in good health. Tough day with an awesome outcome...
