luckily, NJ has had a pretty mild winter, so riding has been good... but that can change at anytime.. i will take it while i can get it.

Hands are the worst thing. I have wondered on a couple of occasions if I was going to leave my fingers in the gloves when I got them off.
But there is a great emergency remedy for frozen finger: toilet tissue from a service station lavvy! Wind it round your fingers before putting your gloves back on. Believe me: it works VERY well!
Don't knock it! Sufficient pain is the mother of all kinds of invention.
(It's a bit fiddly getting it on, I'll admit, so the moral is, do it before your hands get too cold to cope.)
