We have had a cold snap here and my new (to me) Kwaki isn't getting enough use. I go out on it every four days or so, but I'm chilled to the bone for a whole day afterwards! I guess this is because I'm an old guy, maybe.
Any of you folks in the cold zones still taking bikes out? I'm spending my time looking at weather forecasts and reading bike mags! LOL
I'm in jersey and I WOULD be riding but there is too much risk of snow/ice.
The cold doesn't bother me, but any indication that there was some sort of previous precipitation makes me worry about my participation (should've been an MC).

That's the difference between upstate and downstate. 32 degrees here, but the roads are completely clear. I'm taking my wife's Trophy out in a few minutes to ride over to my father's house (7 miles).
(Of course, the Trophy's the fully-faired bike, so it's the warmest... )

How is it for you?

Still using the bike daily, but I do keep a sleeping bag handy at home. If I come back stupidly cold, I just sit in the sleeping bag watching tv for 30mins and I feel back to normal... Ural would be a nice winter addition though. Damn you Gummi, you're making me want to spend money I shouldn't
