? re kickstart on elect. start

I have a 83 650 nighthawk and although I keep thinking I have my electrical problems solved things seem to keep happening that make me wish I had a kickstart rather than push button start. My ? is this. Can I convert or add a kickstart without radically changing any thing mechanical or electric to do so. Or am I just pissing into the wind.

you are most certainly pissing into the wind.

doubt that would be possible, because you would have to make a hole in the engine casing and build a gear train to turn the engine.

Not recommended. invest in a good starter solenoid, cabling, and possibly a wire harness.
