Types of superbike racing...

#1 Unread post by Heimdall Einherjar »

So I understand that you have racing leagues of jacked-up 600cc and 1000cc factory bikes, but I also see these other racing bikes which appear to be entirely purpose-built for racing, and not for the street, which don't look like any of the models I've seen for sale.

Am I hallucinating?

No. It's called MotoGP. They're not allowed to base them off production bikes. As far as i know any way.

nope, it's MotoGP.

they use bikes that are made solely for racing.

i still like the world SBK and AMA supersports more since they use bikes you can buy and own.

but my fav racing is still the TT races. it just appeals to me more than track racing eventhough it's more dangerous.

I was just struck by the lameness of how they're trying to lower the displacement limits... talk about no fun...

Something like that.

I think they should have a monster class with 1.4L limits.
