2005 Suzuki M50 blown ign fuse
2005 Suzuki M50 blown ign fuse
Can anybody help me with a 05 Suzuki M50 blown ign fuse, no dealer can fix it, dealer blames me telling me im getting the bike wet, I never got it wet and it still blows the ign fuse, I tightened up all the ground wires, checked for shorts, found nothing. What happens is sometimes when I use the clutch the bike throws a fit and starts to backfire like crazy then it shuts down and I find the ign fuse is blown. The dealer did find a loose battery terminal, but charged me $115, warranty didnt apply. I can't afford to keep paying the dealer everytime this bike breaks down.

Find a new dealership, pronto. And write Suzuki to complain. That's B.S.
Getting a new bike wet should NEVER be blamed for blowing a fuse, the dealer is too lazy/stupid to actually look for the problem. Which is likely a short someplace. Sounds like in one of the components, not the wires.
Time to get miserable and become a loud, complaining custmer at the service desk. Give them hell!!!
