So i listed my nighthawk for sale last night because i need room in the garage for the fj that is coming this week. I commute on the bike every day and it has never given me any problems whatsoever.
I've got three people interested in the bike so far, including one person whom im showing it to at lunchtime today.
So im riding it in this morning, and it starts to rain. Great. I notice the tun signals arent working. Wonderful, wtf.
Then, as I'm parking the bike, my wet hand slips on the clutch and the bike lurches forward into a pole ( i was parking on a sidewalk where i always do) breaking the headlight.
Awesome. If there is a god, he hates me.

That sucks, talk about bad luck. Too bad you weren't selling it last week, my step-dad was up there in PA, and is looking for a bike to re-learn on. After I got my bike, he keeps saying he wants one.

its actually just the lense. I guess it has a two piece headlight and just the bulb is replacable.
I just got back from the parts store where I tried to match it up to something but no luck.
Ill definitly be able to get it replaced, its just that it might take a few days, I need the bike gone, and I have people coming to look at it.
Ah well, such is life.

Maybe the buyer will be interested anyway. Maybe a bike with a broken headlamp is exactly what they are looking for. They work in mysterious ways
