Was reading today about a jacket that has an airbag built into it!

Sold all over the world except here (maybe Canada) because of the product liability laws!!!!!!

Not only would it be a great product to be able to buy, woul give us something else to argue about besides helmets:):)

This seems to have been out for a few years so sorry if its a repeat....

I've been pulled over by a swine for minimal speeding, the kind where you don't even realize you're speeding.

Very interesting.

As you would expect, by googling "Eggparka" or "Hit-Air," you can find sites willing to sell them to US residents. They are probably on eBay as well.

I'll keep googling-- I'd like to see if there are any good reviews and tests of the product to see if it actually does what it claims.

Watch out for the "phony". The hit-air site has information about airbagvest.com saying that they are in no way related. When I googled hit-air, the airbagvest site came up as a paid add on the side.

But, I was pretty interested as well. Looks very promising. I found an Australian supplier that had denomination conversion into several currencies including US and Canada. The USD for the EU Jacket was $715+.

Yeah, I think I'll just stick with a good textile with armor for now. Eventually though....
